Farm Energy increases its PV capacity

The investment is the successful result of the bet made in 2016, when the company enhanced its business development unit to scout and analyse new business opportunities in the secondary market. The team has benefited by the recruitment of Mr. Lorenzo Discacciati, who had a long term experience in biomass industry as well as in management consulting. The deal is a real distressed asset acquisition from a judicial court and regard a 1 MW PV plant in Scalenghe currently out of operation. Included in the deal are 10 hectares of land that used to be the former Wermacht airport during WWII. The aim of Farm Energy is to revamp the plant, to get it financed and use the land in excess for enlargement.
